Learning objective

What is a learning objective?

What the trainer intends the training to achieve. The term is often used interchangeably with learning outcome; when the two are separated, objectives describe the trainer’s aims and outcomes describe what learners can show.

Example

Objective: introduce participants to AI note-taking tools. Outcome: participants can produce a usable meeting summary with one.
